The Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour (February 13, 1984): Part 1

Here comes a new show for my channel; it’s an episode of the Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour from February 1984. We start off with the Match Game portion of the show with guests Leonard Frey, George Gobel, Richard Kline, Nancy Stafford, Bill Daily and everyone’s favorite…oops, wrong tag! Let me correct that;…and Jon Bauman.

Anyhow, will Mark or Karie (I think that’s how she spells it) win and move on to the Hollywood Squares game for a shot at the champion? Let’s start to find out now. No copyright infringement is intended. I’ve left in the commercials at the end, too! Oh, and sorry about the pixely picture.

    Anything is …
Anything is possible. While I don’t think Bowzer was the worst host of all time (I think many people would put Patrick Wayne on anybody’s short list), his style didn’t work for Hollywood Squares. As for Gene, I agree is wasn’t his best show, either, so you might have a point.

    Although it’s been …
Although it’s been said that Rayburn hated working with Bowzer, I think he just did this show for the money.
