    What you would do …
What you would do is a decrease. There are two ways to do a decrease. That would be the traditional way by joining two stitches together or skipping a stitch. You can still do this stitch in rounds, just push the knobby part to one side so it is all on the same side. I hope that makes sense.

    Hi Theresa, thanks …
Hi Theresa, thanks a lot for your videos!! I´m from Argentina, and speak English thankfully! I´ve learnt crochet with your clearly explanations! I´m studying Cloth Design, and doing a work for the university, just if you could tell me, how can I do the same stitches but in a triangle, instead of square?, I´m trying but don´t know how to continue without cutting the wool. Thank you very very much!

  13. tjw1963 says:

    Yes, you can …
Yes, you can combine stitch combination’s in infinite ways. Just experiment with small swatches first because sometimes once you get them together, they may not work and look good together.

hi theresa, ive tried & tried to get this one right but i keep ending up with too many stitches and not enough spaces in my rows somehow! where exactly do the stitches go? are they in the spaces between or the tops of the st’s in the row below, your picture on yr blog is great but mine still dont seem to be working out, its driving me nuts! ps is it easier to stick to sq’s rather than trying for a blanket (keeps going out of shape) thks for your help, youre so inspirational x
