I have a bit of a paintball project in mind, and it will require square tubing. Basically, I’m looking for a place where I can get small amounts, and have tubes that can nestle inside each other, so say one tube is 1"x1", the other tube will be 1"x1" on the inside.
Go to hobby shops. They sell square brass tubing that telescopes inside or outside the next size.
If you can’t find it locally, search square brass tubing on the internet hobby supplies places.
Look for a local welding shop or steel fabricating shop. They buy steel in bulk and usually are willing to sell small quantities with just a small but fair mark up. I have purchased steel that way in the past.

Look up tubing or warehouse metals in the yellow pages and check out extruded aluminum tube. Doubtful that you will find exactly what you are looking for, but you wouldn’t want to. You insert 1 x 1 OD into a 1 x 1 ID, you’ll never get them apart. You gotta have some movement.
