    There’s a very simple GRAPHICAL proof that you can’t take the square root of a prime numer. Graphically, squaring is taking the side of a square consisting of that many little “unit squares”, as the number you’re squaring. But no matter what you do, you can’t build a square from any prime number, because there’s always something left making the square incomplete.
