how to figure feet into inches then to square it?

I have a roll of product that is 15" wide and 73′ long and i need the square inches of this? Whit is the way to figure this?
Thanks ahead of time.

73 feet = 73 * 12 = 876 inches

So the roll is 15 inches by 876 inches

Area = length * width = 15 inches*876 inches = 13140 square inches

    1 ft = 12 inches

    so 15" x 73′ = 15" x (73*12)" = 13140 sq inches

    73′ = 73×12 inches = 876 inches. Now multiply 876 by 15 = 13 140 square inches.

    You could also use google calculator. This expression will give you the answer. 73 feet * 15 inches in inches^2

    Double quotation mark (") indicates inches while single quotation mark (‘) indicate foot or feet. To express the dimension of your roll of product it could be expressed in either of the following manners:

    a. 15" wide and 73′ long; this is your expression which means 15 inches wide and 73 feet long.

    b. 1 1/4 (15/12)’ wide and 73′ long. This means after you divide 15 inches by 12 you arrive at 1 1/4 feet, therefore it means 1 1/4 feet wide and 73 feet long.

    c. 15" wide and 876 (73 * 12)" long. This means that after you multiply 73 by 12 you arrive at 876 inches, therefore it means 15 inches wide and 876 inches long.
