    first year of me actually trying to keep up with the compost pile. I used an old wire dog kennel as my containment, air can circulate, but it’s big enough for me to get my pitchfork in there to turn it. :)

    There’s nothing like pulling a bag of frozen green beans or sweet corn out of the freezer on a cold January day and experiencing the taste of “fresh out of the garden” summer flavor. BTW, I am a single male, 62 years young and I actually DO can myself. It’s great therapy for me.
