Using this type of machine can cut tubing and pipe virtually burr free with a machined like finish at a tolerance of .0005&#8243;. Each coldsaw we offer will be in your production or fabrication shop offering decades of service. Please read on as we summarize our quality line of metal cutting saws.</p>
<p>The line up of manual and semi-automatic coolant lubricated metal cutoff saws consists of an 11&#8243; and 14&#8243; saw. Each machine has a heavy cast iron base frame with way support system and a cast sawing head that is mounted on a sturdy steel cabinet. The cabinet houses the electrical system, coolant system and has several storage compartments for housing cold saw blades and changeover tooling. A nice sturdy meter long material stop is included and lists inches and metric increments. The coolant sytem uses an industrial grade pump to properly wash away cut chips from the cold saw blade and the material being cut. The coolant system, using a synthetic 10 to 1 mixture extends blade life. Each metal cutting saw offers two cutting speeds to allow for the proper speeds for aluminum, stainless steel and mild steel. The head can swivel or miter up to 60 degrees in one direction and up to 90 degrees in the other direction allowing for 150 degree total swing. The vise is self centering so that the material always starts in the proper position on the blade regardless of the outside diameter of the material being cut. The vise uses a dual clamping system so the cut piece and stock bar or tube are both being held securely throughout the cutting process, which increases blade life. The vise jaws have a diamond groove that allows the cut on square tubing to begin on the pointed edge that increase blade life and speed of cut. A Baileigh metal cutting circular saw is heavily built with a very powerful AC motor coupled to an industrial grade gear box ready to provide decades of consistent sawing.</p>

This project was done for a graduating grade at my high school. the grade on it was a 98% and i got a 95 on my speech (which was 12 minutes long.) this was the video i showed during my presentation.</p>
<p>this project took a total of 2 to 3 months of work, and i started with ordering a set of go-kart plance from Don&#8217;s DIY Den (diyden.net.) The go-kart was origionally designed for a 5 horsepower motor, but i put in a monster 18 horsepower twin cylinder motor. it wasnt the BEST idea because the ngine is on the side and it is kind of off weight. other than that and the crappy breaks, there are no real problems with it.</p>
<p>The frame used mostly .095&#8243; one inch square tubing, and for the braces and brackets, i used 1/4&#8243; sheet metal. </p>
<p>All of the parts in which i did not build i obtained from northern tool (northerntool.com.) some parts like the front wheels and steering wheel, i got from friends or yard sales.</p>
<p>This thing started up the first pull and yes, i know the mixure is off, but once we got this thing working, it topped out at about 50 MPH, andhad real nice handling. not that great of a turning radious, but good handling.</p>
<p>the clutch was actually a belt clutch and i welded on a sprocket, and it worked perfectly. it is a single speed which is similar to second gear. im DYING for a two pully centrifugal clutch system so i can get all my horsepowers out.</p>
<p>i have done substantial work since this video. the front shocks DO look bent. theyre not. single A-arm suspentions do move around like that. i admit it does look dumb, SO i put some real beefy shocks up front, and it did give it a four or five inch lift. and now it doesnt look bent anymore. it went from lookling like<br />

Rob and i welded on it using some TIG a lot of MIG, but mostly flux chore welding. i used PAC to cut some pieces and i used a hydraulic sheer to cut and bend a lot of the bracings, mounts, and brackets.</p>

Basically, I&#8217;m looking for a place where I can get small amounts, and have tubes that can nestle inside each other, so say one tube is 1&quot;x1&quot;, the other tube will be 1&quot;x1&quot; on the inside.<br />
<br />Go to hobby shops. They sell square brass tubing that telescopes inside or outside the next size.</p>
<p>If you can&#8217;t find it locally, search square brass tubing on the internet hobby supplies places.</p>

<br />While it will of course deflect under it&#8217;s own weight,  for a 2&quot; x 2&quot; tube, 6 ft long weighing about 13lb, the deflection would be difficult to measure, and there will likely be more distortion resulting from the welding than the deflection from the tubes own weight. In fact, due to the welding, it wouldn&#8217;t surprise me any to see a negative (upwards) deflection.</p>
