I created this website in response to the need of a quality, non-bias and informative website for my community, Washington Square West. For several years I’ve worked in the Internet Marketing and Web Design field and found that not many local portals were providing the information people needed to properly promote their city and the businesses there in. Instead of a website covered in links, an eye sore at best, and plastered with ads coming out of every pixel, this website will remain visually appealing while at the same time financial solvent through the use of tasteful placement of ads. There are Guides on Moving, Living and Playing in the Neighborhood, Video Footage and Photos from actual events and places in the neighborhood, with the option of purchasing specific visuals from the neighborhood on demand.

Creating a living, breathing community online is no easy task, it takes persistence and a dedication to bring not only the voices of industry but more importantly the residents who live here day in and day out. Every aspect of WsquareW.com is geared toward gathering information and ideas from the community at large and making the best possible use of it to the benefit of all. If any visitor has something to add or an idea to exchange they can submit a request/suggestion and be sure that someone will take a serious look and respond to that visitor.

As the founder, the most important thing about creating this website is improving the neighborhood I live in. I’m a former Boy Scout and believe that service to the community is an interregnal piece in the city improvement puzzle. A handful of people can do amazing things to a community and as a citizen I feel it a responsibility to do what ever I can to benefit those who live around me.
